We will examine the 5 elements of wellness (physical, occupational, emotional, spiritual, intellectual), what they mean to us and why all pieces are crucial to our overall mental wellness. We will take a more in depth examination into techniques for stress, anxiety and depression management, which include both pranayama (breath) and asanas (postures). A guided meditation and full body muscle relaxation will conclude class. Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction techniques will be explored.
This will be in Yin/Yang class . Bringing a journal to class is highly encouraged.
THIS IS A BEGINNER LEVEL CLASS and for ALL people in the community.
