Counseling/Therapy Rates
What insurances do you accept?
Currently, the practice is in network with UMR, United Health Care, CDPHP, Cigna, Fidelis, Multiplan, MVP, Excellus Blue Cross and Blue Shield and a provider for many EAP's. Each provider is credentialed individually with insurance. If there is a specific provider you would like to see, please ask if they are on par with your insurance.
Are there any risks to using insurance?
YES! Of course we have insurance and want to use it, but to use insurance it requires a diagnosis and this becomes a part of your permanent medical record. This diagnosis can impact one's ability to get life insurance, disability or health insurance at any point in their life. This also allows the insurance company to have access to your personal information.
How much are sessions for therapy if I decide to pay out of pocket?
Sessions range from $120-160.
Do you have a sliding scale?
Yes, We believe everyone should have the opportunity to improve their mental health. We do not require a W2 or any information about your income, but request that you respect the profession.
What is your cancellation policy?
We request 24 hours notice, as there may be other patients waiting for that time slot. We do understand when extenuating circumstances arise such as family emergency, weather, getting called into work, flat tire, etc. We are unable to bill insurance if you do not show for an appointment. You must pay the no show fee before you can reschedule.
Other questions?
Please feel free to reach out for other questions and we will be happy to answer them. We look forward to working with you.
