Mary diGiovanna, LMHC-D

​I'm Mary, a licensed mental health counselor. I specialize in working with youth, adolescents, and young adults. I also have experience working with adolescents and adults struggling with substance abuse issues as well as family members of individuals struggling with substance abuse. I am trained to provide Trauma-Focused CBT, Child-Centered Play Therapy, and I utilize a HAES approach in working with individuals struggling with disordered eating. I have been in practice for ten years, starting my career in Baltimore before moving home to Syracuse. I approach work in therapy through an attachment-focused and family system lens, with a healthy dose of feminism. My goal is to help you find healing as you work towards improving relationships and creating lasting change in your life.
