Mallorie Humphrey, MHC-LP
Hi! My name is Mallorie Humphrey and I am a Limited Permit Mental Health Counselor. I first want to recognize that the process to starting therapy can be daunting, and so I want to say that you should be proud of yourself for taking the time to search for the right therapist for you or your loved one! Life has its ups and downs, and I want you to know that you are not alone in your struggles and I am here to help support and guide you along your journey to wellness – whatever that looks like for you!
I am a down to Earth therapist who provides client-centered and integrative counseling services to individuals, couples, youth, and families. I believe in treating people from a holistic perspective - meaning that I treat the whole person; mind, body, and soul. I have a passion for people and understand that growth is non-linear. I strive to work collaboratively with you and tailor our sessions to fit your specific situation and needs.
I will be person-centered and incorporate mindfulness, CBT, DBT skills, strength-based approaches, as well as choice theory/reality therapy in order to help you become aware of the life you want to live, how to make the choices that will get you there, and provide you with resources on how to stay grounded, present, and non-judgmental along the way.
