Chloe McCaffery, Graduate Intern
Hello, my name is Chloe and I am a graduate student in the Clinical Mental Health Counseling program at St. Bonaventure University. I obtained my bachelor’s degree in psychology with a concentration in forensics from Southern New Hampshire University. While completing my undergraduate degree, I played collegiate soccer.
I feel confident in providing counseling to individuals of all ages, from children to adults, dealing with a wide range of mental health conditions. My experience as a substitute teacher has been invaluable in helping me connect with younger clients, allowing me to understand their unique perspectives and build rapport with ease. I’m deeply passionate about providing counseling to individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, OCD, and athletes facing mental health challenges.
I’ve always had a deep interest in counseling, driven by a passion for helping others. I’ve felt drawn to provide support and create a space where people felt heard and understood. Helping people navigate life’s challenges is my passion, and I’m excited to be pursuing a degree in counseling to turn that passion into a lifelong career.
As we embark on this journey together, I am committed to providing a safe space where you will truly feel heard, understood, and valued. My goal is to help to promote mental and emotional well-being by helping individuals navigate personal challenges, improve coping skills, and achieve personal growth. I look forward to working with you! As I work with you in sessions, I’ll provide a judgment-free space where I can support, challenge, and learn from you, while always treating you as the expert of your own life.
I look forward to supporting you on your journey!
