It is not possible to live without experiencing loss. Grief is our mind and bodies response to loss. We often attempt to work through grief through counseling and connecting with others. Grief lives in our body. If we connect to the grief, sadness and sorrow within our physical body, we can move through our pain instead of avoiding or repressing it. Yoga is one way to work through the physical process of grief journey. Yoga means is union; union of mind, body and spirit. Branches of Growth offers a safe place to move through your grief, without judgment or expectation, to reconnect your mind, body and spirit. Participants are encouraged to bring a journal. No previous yoga experience needed.

Private sessions are beneficial for new students and seasoned practitioners. Working one-on-one, each session can me tailored to your specific needs and goals.
For those who are brand new to yoga, your sessions will focus on your individual needs. Private sessions help new students learn about breath work (pranayama), meditation (dharana and dhyana) and postures (asanas). Breath work is helpful in stress reduction and improving focus and concentration. Together, we can develop a customized practice.
For seasoned practitioners, private sessions help achieve goals by taking your practice to a higher level. If there is a particular pose or breath technique you are struggling with, we can work together to achieve your goals. Private sessions can also be useful in enhancing your studio practice and assisting with your connection to yogic philosophy.
Private Yoga is beneficial for clients who have particular issues regarding health and injuries. Together, we will focus on increasing mobility, flexibility, and stability to those targeted areas of the body. Private yoga is useful for many conditions such as: Anxiety, Cancer, Depression, Headaches, MS, PTSD, Sleep disorders, Stress, Trauma, Prenatal, Postnatal and Injury.

Mommy & Me (Daddy or Caregiver welcome!) Yoga class
Children aged 2-3 and their parent/caregiver, are invited to join us in this fun class yoga class. We will use animated animal poses, creative yoga style games, music and chanting to help children discover the joy of yoga. You and your tot will celebrate developing mobility and verbal expression through this supportive, fun-loving and active class. Silly and unique tot-friendly yoga poses enhance concentration and listening skills, while refining motor co-ordination. This yoga class creates an enriching parent/child yoga experience. Spots are limited!
