Everyday feels like a battle, like no one understands and you aren't sure how you got here or what to do next. With the right support, I believe there is always an opportunity for change, growth, and healing. It takes courage to reach out and share your story and I am here to work with you as you begin your journey. Together, we will develop skills and strategies to create long lasting changes in your life. Whether you want to learn to communicate more effectively, better manage and express your emotions, heal from past traumas, or create a more authentic and meaningful life, therapy can be a place to begin making these changes.
I am passionate about working with Trauma Survivors; I work from a person-centered, strength-based, trauma informed approach. I’m certified in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and utilize Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness and other modalities.
It is possible to start feeling better and to make changes in your life. I provide an atmosphere of support, in a non-judgmental, therapeutic space.

Change is inevitable, it's not always sunshine and rainbows...and sometimes these changes are completely out of our control! So then what? As your therapist, I believe the therapeutic relationship between us is just as important as the therapy process. I will support you, as well as challenge you. I will be honest and I will give you genuine responses- and in the same breath- provide empathy and understanding. I am willing to work as hard as you are when it comes to reaching your treatment goals.
I come from a person-centered and strengths-based approach, with a focus on the connection between mental and physical health. I am interested in how you became the person you are today, and focus on future goals by processing the past. I utilize body based therapies in conjunction with talk therapy; because sometimes the body can say what the mind cannot.
So, let's do this! You've already started the process by scrolling through profiles. I cannot promise that this process will be easy, but I will be here to sit with you through the difficult emotions...and I would be honored to be a part of your journey.
